Un feticcio per gli appassionati di soundtracks e musica elettronica: le composizioni create da John Carpenter, assieme ad Alan Howarth, ad accompagnamento delle pellicole dai lui stesso girate tra fine anni Settanta ed inizio anni Ottanta.
Un monumentale lavoro di minimalismo sintetico che ha segnato la storia della musica negli anni a venire.
Il duo reggiano Crimea X - DJ Rocca e Jukka Reverberi - reinterpreta le musiche di alcuni capolavori di John Carpenter scelti ed editati dal regista Mateo Zoni: "Distretto 13, Le brigate della morte"; "1997 fuga da New York"; "Christine, la macchina infernale"; e "The Fog" ed è subito incubo sintetico!

André Vida : Score and Seek @ Project Space



As part of Eyebeam's mission to support risk-taking new works, composer, artist, technologist and Honorary Fellow André Vida will be testing his latest interactive musical installation from September 19th- September 30th in the Project Space. Score and Seek projects animated musical notations that respond to the performers as they move and perform in the space. Creative musicians from backgrounds ranging from classical training to live improvisation, of all ages, are invited to drop by the Project Space to experiment and explore Vida's interactive score.  The artist is seeking the following:
  • Any kind of musician who is interested to work with deconstructed notation
  • Spontaneous composers / improvisers
  • Classically trained musicians
  • Hobbyists
  • Students
